Minor fail & Strange glitch
I'm currently playtesting a "homemade" lot, when I noticed this little error, that has escaped our attention in Store Fixes.
It's the chair from Happily Ever After set. The animation is missing and it doesn't move at all.
And since I'm testing a "homemade" Lot that I have made with no any mods other the Store Fixes, I guess this goes to the EA account.
I guess Twallan is better than I thought since I never seen this before. I use a lot of his mods.
It was on the Appaloosa Plains Festival Lot I encountered this Elderly (?) Fairy with misshaped wings or is it a part of getting old? I hope not!!
I have never seen this before - any one else seen this before?

I don't think the wings are "misshaped"; maybe I could be mistaking, but you can actually choose several different wings in CAS mode - and among them are these (funny-looking ) small wings..

Those are definitely the bumblebee wings you can choose. I think they're absolutely adorable on small children and toddlers, but then they look funny. lol
And all your other chairs work? Did you try them with a different table? ~It is kind of funny to see the sims sit like that though.. ~

Re: Minor fail & Strange glitch
I have never played a Sim Fairy - yet. Nor made one - yet. So I have absolutely not idea that, that was normal. I have seen many, many, many fairies in game and befriended a lot, but never seen one with that kind of wingset. So since I played without mods, I just assumed that there was a glitch of some sort.
Well, about the chaires. The tablet and chairs are a set - from Happily Ever After. But I have the same set indoor with the same fault, but I haven't tried it with another table, I'll try that and see if it's still missing the animations and stuff.
Thank to both of you and your feedback
#EDIT
Here is the same fault at another table plus the same table, just inside.

How strange. I remember when all the cc got messed up with pets, and the chairs were doing this, but that's all been fixed now... :l

Hello,
Yes that does look exactly like the glitch after Pets. Strange. Those wings are cute.. lol
Those chairs.. are they existing or newly placed?

Re: Minor fail & Strange glitch
The chairs are from the Happily Ever After set and added to the Make A Wish Compilation and if I'm not mistaken both set are from this year 2012. Once Upon a Time was released before June, I think and Happily Ever After around July/August. But I'm not sure.

Pets are from last year - in November I think?

Re: Minor fail & Strange glitch
That's why I thought it was so odd that it looked just like that glitch. Huh. Is it just with these chairs? No other issues with chairs, beds, or counters?

I haven't checked the other chair yet, however there was a minor problem with the counter from Happily Ever After set.
I had to try a lot before I had a contercorner connection, which wouldn't stay connected, when I let go of the counter and it only worked, if I had tried a couple of times and used the regret button to redo my steps backward and just before removing the counters, they connected.
I haven't really tried any other chairs from the Happily Ever After, but used the bed from the Make A Wish compilation and there is as of yet, no problems with it.
But I'll give it a go later today and what happens, however only the Happily Ever After set or the whole Make A Wish compilation?

Re: Minor fail & Strange glitch
Just any cc in general, really. But I'd try the entire compilation.

I always uses Store Items and only them. I don't use anything else 'cause the risk of outdated or modding-causing-game-error.
The only other creators I use from, I know updates regularly and keeps improving their items.
Normally just mods, however I recently pulled down male pregnancy cloth to avoid the floating head problem with Storyprogression, since EA's idea of male pregnancy is getting really fat.
It is just me or does that also apply now to the females pregnancy?
Back to track - As I said, I alway uses Store Items in my houses and that chair is so far the only one with a problem, however I don't recall having uses the other one from the Once Upon a Time.
So I'll try them out later on, are building again.....
