Unsure what to do.
I need some help with this problem please.
I've been trying to put my The Sims 3 and downloaded expansions on my desktop and I am having problems. I don't know what I am doing wrong as I have some expansions on my laptop and they worked fine. At first I tried putting all the expansions in at once. That didn't work. Then I uninstalled everything including the base game (which I own a store bought copy of) and tried install two expansions at a time. First one I tried was Generations, than Seasons. When I started the game I noticed instead of the Season opener, it was Generations. Usually the latest expansion will be playing when I start the game. Seasons should have been the opener. It wasn't. I get to the menu screen and nothing is there. No neighborhoods, no options, nothing. So I exited through task manager and uninstalled Generations, which left the base game and Seasons. I started the game up again. This time for the opener it was the base game not Seasons. I get to the menu screen and it is the same thing. Nothing is there. I will attach a screen shot of what I see.
When I installed my base game, since it was a legit copy, I went ahead and updated to the latest software update 1.42. When I added my downloaded expansion packs I followed the Must Read on this website on how to do it. I have done this before several times on my laptop and it always worked fine. I don't know why its not working now. I do not have any mods or packages, or downloads of any kind on it yet.
Here is the screen shot. Hopefully I have done it right and you can see it.
Thank you.

Re: Unsure what to do.
It sounds like you have two separate issues going on here.
1) The worlds not showing up - I'm not familiar with it so I can't help much.
2) Expansions not showing up - it sounds like you might have forgotten to copy the files in the Ultimate Fix's "# Crack" folder after installing everything.

Hello,
Both issues may be fixed by following steps 2-4 on this page (again): https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly

Re: Unsure what to do.
I followed the steps again and it still didn't work. So I copied what I had on my laptop to my desktop and it works fine now. I just have one more question. Since I now have The base game and Seasons which is the last expansion, when I add my other expansions do I need to use the ultimate fix for them too?
Thanks so much for all your help!

Re: Unsure what to do.
Hello,
It's recommended to patch and crack them. The patch takes care of bugs in the expansions, and after that you'll have to crack it again, but there's no need to apply the entire fix.
