The sims medieval Empty The sims medieval

I downloaded the game without problems. It starts without problems.
In the game I follow the explanation. But then it says I must choose a new ruler. I click on it, but it does'nt work..
Am I really that stupid or is there something wrong with the game?

Hello,

Strange problem. Try clicking an other ruler and see if it works?
