Terrified moodlet from Werewolf transformation.[SOLVED]
Hi!
I have a werewolf sim in my household and all of a sudden all the other sims keep getting the Terrified moodlet from Werewolf transformation... It gets very annoying as I can hardly get anything done, my other sims either pee themselves or faint very often, even just by having the werewolf walk in the room...
This happens to other sims from other households too, and also on other lots. It's very weird because I've been playing this game for weeks and it all went fine before. And I noticed it's just with MY werewolf sim and not with other werewolves... I haven't gotten the Alpha Dog LTR so I don't know what could be causing it... I noticed it started when I changed my werewolf sim's hair and I tried changing it back but the other sims still keep getting the moodlet...
Anybody got any idea? I've been looking around and still haven't found a solution...

Hello,
Did you change anything else during the time you changed the werewolf's hair? Added a mod/cc for example?

I added a couple of CC's that day, mostly hair and makeup... And my werewolf's previous hair was one that came with the game... The one I changed it to is custom, Raonjaena's I believe... And the thing is I have a lot of CC's installed so I don't know which one could be causing the issue...

Hello,
You really want to try running the game without your CC first.
Then test the game and see if the problem still persists.

Re: Terrified moodlet from Werewolf transformation.[SOLVED]
Okay I will do that... I actually tried starting a new game with the same sims and I made the werewolf transform in front of everyone and none of them got the moodlet anymore...
However I noticed the attraction system isn't working this time... I try to make them talk to each other and I don't get the sound or the messages or the moodlet... Am going to remove some of the CCs I don't use and see what happens..

Try backing up and completely removing, or renaming it if you'd prefer, the sims 3 folder in your documents. This way you can see if it's absolutely caused by something in that folder or if it's something else. You can put your mods/cc and saves back in after testing it, and we can go from there.

By the way, I installed the Store Fixes a couple of days ago... Maybe a day or two before I started getting this issue... Could this have something to do with the terrified moodlet coming up? Since it fixes the moodlet and other issues with the premium content? Just a wild guess...

Hello,
That's possible, but why would the other sims get the moodlet in one game, but not another?

Re: Terrified moodlet from Werewolf transformation.[SOLVED]
Hi!
I noticed in my new game Sims would still get the terrified moodlet ONLY when they've seen the werewolf transform for the first time. They'd faint or pee and that was it.... Unlike in my previous game when they'd be terrified almost all the time.
I tried taking out the Store Fixes from my Mods folder but nope, that wasn't it. It just made my blackjack table look funny so I put them back in.
I also took out the Mods folder, ran the game without CC's and tested out my previous game... Well, it's still there... All the sims still got the moodlet when they saw the werewolf.
I don't know, it seems the bug got saved to my game so I guess I gotta go with my new game instead. Good thing I wasn't too far into it yet so a restart is fine. Beats having to deal with scared-sh*tless sims all the time.

This seems to be breeding all sorts of issues... I clicked on the "Run without CC" box when I went to test the game and now my game won't load the CC's I put in my game anymore and I'm now getting the "Missing objects" message. Crap! Will do a search and start another thread on that one if ever.

Hello,
Feel free to keep all problems in this topic, since it's still open.
If you ever want to test without CC, I'd recommend doing that another way, by simply removing the DCBackup folder temporarily after backing it up.

Re: Terrified moodlet from Werewolf transformation.[SOLVED]
Okay... I should do that next time. Was really opposed to clicking that "Run without CC" box for some reason. But thankfully I fixed it... You just have to check and uncheck the box before you load your game the next time. Whew! Almost had a heart attack there.
As for the moodlet issue... I'm afraid it's still there even without the Mods folder and the CC... I don't get it with my new game though so I'd better stick to that one...
Or could it be caused by my werewolf's lycanthropy skill going up? But it really shouldn't give everyone else the moodlet ALL the time...

Hello,
It does seem realistic though lol. What would you do if you came across a werewolf lol.
Shall we consider it solved(ish)?

Re: Terrified moodlet from Werewolf transformation.[SOLVED]
Hahaha! Good point there!
I think it may have come from the pose player or the stripper pole because I tried using it in this new game and one of my sims afterwards got the "It's dark" and "Unfinished walls" moodlet and got stuck to one place that couldn't be fixed by resetSim... I remember using the pose player before the terrified moodlet came. I was quicker not to save the game this time... I have used the pose player a couple of times before with no problems though... So yeah, Solved(ish) it is... Thanks for all your help!
