HELP. [SOLVED]

I folowed ALL directions correctly ...
but when I go to click the sims icon, NOTHING HAPPENS
I sit there for 20 mins waiting for it to start the game, but it doesn't open

Do you have any expansions or stuff packs? Or mods/cc?

Re-download both the manual patch and the Ultimate Fix.
