want to rid myself of WA.[SOLVED]

as the title says can i uninstall WA but still play my old saved games? possible?

preferably from someome who has done it & no issues arised. im too paranoid to lose my saves b/c so much time/changes has been put into them.

The only problems that I know about would be that if you have items from WA those will no longer exist (will be replaced) and if you have Sims in adventures they will be disabled. If it was a EP with a city that save would become unusable.
You better wait for a confirmation on this.

so far im liking what youre saying b/c i stopped traveling awhile back & the items arent that important. i just want to make sure the save will load. thanks for your help

Hello,
I can't say I'm 100% sure about this but I think you can do it.
To be on the safe side though, always backup your savegames before uninstalling an EP.
If it doesn't work out, you can always reinstall WA.

I had no issues when I uninstalled it last time, so I don't see that you would. Just do as Lady Eldi said so that if there is an issue, you can fix it.

Thanks all. I successfully uinstalled WA, deleted the appropriate files & my saves work great
