Annoying Date Calls. [CLOSED]

Does anyone know how to disable the constant calls for dates?? It's starting to be a pain.

I didn't know my Sim had a profile? How would I do that Lady E?



EDIT: I snooped on the Sim PC under the online dating and all I see is the option to create a profile. Too bad the cells don't have call block! lol

I know exactly what you're talking about. I actually tried to create a mod that would disable all the annoying calls for those who have the "Eternally Faithful" moodlet, but you can't catch calls until after the phone has rang so I stopped pursuing that mod. Side note: for those without the moodlet I was going to allow xml configurations to curb the amount of calls you get.

In short, it can't be done currently. I have a feeling if it could've been done it would've been done a long time ago. There are mods that will reduce the number of calls for firefighters and police (I think that's what it was) .. but that's a completely different system when talking about creating a mod.

This mod actually changes the attraction system, making less people attracted to your sim, so that they get fewer phone calls. I've been using it for a few weeks, and get maybe a phone call a week, instead of 20 a day. It's fantastic.

I haven't been able to play that long due to crashes to the desktop (and here I thought my 64-bit was immune lol). But I have noticed I don't get the calls right way after the start of the game. It's still too soon to tell. I'm going through my files to hopefully elimate the cause of my crashes, but once that is done I will give the MOD a proper testing.
