I need idiot proof instructions for The Sims 3 Installation please. [SOLVED]

First topic message reminder :

Hi, I am an idiot and need some idiot proof instructions please.
I'll explain what I mean:
I am following instructions on the Sims 3 "read me" page and I got no error when installing The Sims 3 or The Sims 3 Pets.
Does that mean I don't have to follow step 2?
"2. After you've installed all the games you want, RE-DOWNLOAD and RE-APPLY this manual patch: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v133-fix-manual-patch (The Mac version of the manual patch can be downloaded HERE)"
And if I use the "ultimate fix", which of the shortcuts on my desktop do I click to open the game? The Sims 3 or The Sims 3 Pets?

Please help as I am hopeless

Hello,

In this case, you only need the folder "#crack" in the Ultimate Fix. Simply drag and drop the content of this folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin and replace the existing files. You don't need other folders/files. You only need the #crack.

To be 100% clear..I don't need the contents of the "All expansion packs released after and including Generations" folder at all before installing the update? Even if I have more than 1 expansion in the list of expansions compatible with the folder "All expansion packs released after and including Generations"?

I was but I took them all out when I uninstalled The Sims 3 again...and Dalphy's Dashboard didn't find any conflicts with them, but I took them out anyway. I doubt I'll use mods again, but maybe I'll be tempted LOL

I've updated via the manual patch and I'm about to install expansion Supernatural. I still haven't played the game yet as I'm trying to do this step by step.

OK I installed the exp. Supernatural, and dragged the contents of the Ultimate Fix's #Crack folder to "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin".
It asked if I wanted to apply the store patch and I said no.
I got the error below. I then restarted and installed the patch and restarted the game.
I got the same error below again.
How do I fix this please?

Question..Do I only need to apply the contents of the #Crack folder from Ultimate Fix after every installation of the expansions for the Sims 3?

Hello,

I think you need to redownload the Ultimate Fix. Make sure the manual patch you have applied is 1.57. And please NO double-posting. Edit your post instead. This is the last warning.

OK...I have re-downloaded and moved the #Crack contents of the Ultimate Fix to the correct place on my computer.
I tested the game and I got no pop up..YAY!!

Now I want to install the expansion, The Sims 3 - World Adventures.
Question is..Do I have to redownload and move the contents of the #Crack folder to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin again?
Or do I have to move the contents from the Ultimate Fix\World Adventure to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin ?

Hello,

After installing The Sims 3: World Adventures, simply copy and paste the files from the folder #crack in the Ultimate Fix to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. Then basically you are done and you can run the game to see if it works or not.

Hello,

Yes, but remember: make sure the Ultimate Fix is compatible with the base game version before applying. Otherwise, you may get the error again.
