Sims Medieval camera crash. [SOLVED] Empty Sims Medieval camera crash. [SOLVED]

Post by Guest Fri 15 Apr 2011, 01:23

Hello!!
So I've tried a million things to fix this. The "Ultimate" fix has already been correctly applied. I've taken edge-scrolling off, since that caused an issue before. But basically, my issue is this:

The black screen appears - with cursor still visible - at random points in time when the camera needs to go somewhere. Example? Edge-scrolling WAS enabled, and I was at the very beginning of the game, trying to go upstairs. I made it there okay, but scrolled 'til the mirror was in view, at which time the screen went black, then flashed with altered colors, then black, then back again, until I finally just pounded on the Windows key to get my desktop back.

Example 2: Edge-scrolling has been disabled, and I make it upstairs and to the mirror okay. Then to find another citizen, I click Zoom Out - and the screen flashes back and forth again.

Not sure what to do about this - help!!

Hello,

Please go into your game's options and turn of the "Refelctions" option. (It's called something like that) See if it works after that.
