Some questions about store updates and items...

So I downloaded the pizza oven, Japanese grill, poker robot dude, etc etc... Started playing the game, started playing the poker table, and the poker robot and me have white blocks around us and it says something about missing action. Then I'm outside gardening and random white blocks appear out of nowhere(I'm not sure if there supposed to be squirrels or chipmunks that are not showing up). Then I get to the grill and oven, I cannot serve anything. Seen someone else posted a thread about it, I downloaded the update for the store stuff. Start playing, white blocks in the garden still, serve option for the oven shows up and works but then we come to the grill... The grill gives me an option to serve, but as soon as I try to, the icon goes away and my sim just stands there...

What else could I do to stop the white blocks and fix the grill??

Did you replace the items after applying the fixes? In order for the fixes to work, you have to sell the item in game and buy a new one. And the gardening bit sounds like you downloaded the greenhouse, and are using the sunflower?

I didn't replace the oven, it just started working.

The grill wasn't, so I thought, yeah i'll buy a new one, maybe that will work. And it didn't.

Didn't try the robot dude, I forgot about him. hahah

And yes, how did you know I have the greenhouse and using a flower!? hahah is that a glitch for the greenhouse and flower??

When the items were downloaded, I just clicked on the icon of what I downloaded and it installed itself thru the game launcher. Is that the default way?

As far as I know, that's the "Default" way of doing it, yes.
Might be a stupid question, but where exactly did you get the items from?
