Exception raised 0x1028eb8b

I've used the newest manual patch, new crack, cleared cache's, and turned off my WiFi, but every time I try to go through my installed content the Exception raised 0x00000014 at address 0x1028eb8b. I've received the same message before and after I installed the 90s,80s .... stuff pack.

i've the same problem... Help me! please!

I ended up adding the new patch, clearing all cache's, and creating a new electronic arts folder,

then launched the game, then quit and went through all sim3 files and mods for ones that i thought might be old and deleted them. Then what was left I put in the new electronic arts file.

And I also turned my wifi off.... and it now randomly crashes during cas (when creating a sim)- but so far not while playing or building/decorating. My suggestion if you do what I did, save ALOT.

lazy EA- shame on them! Mac lovers need games too!

this is happend to me as well, then i found there are some error in the electronic arts download folder.. i delete it . then the game just load just fine =)
