Sims 3 Launch Problems

Yesterday I uninstalled and reinstalled the sims 3 due to my stupidity of updating the game to 1.50 before it was patched on here. My game runs fine, but when I open the launcher it says that it can't connect to Origin, even if I'm logged into Origin and then when I go to run my game I get an error that says I have unauthorized game modifications and it asks me if I want to quit or continue. If I click continue the game WILL run, and so far it hasn't crashed however it is quite annoying. I updated today from 1.42 to 1.48 and the errors still continue. I know there was another thread about this problem, but it was unresolved.
