Dear Helpers,

The new expansion pack for The Sims 3 will be released very soon. Of course, this means: shitstorm.
We need all the help we can to keep the Forum clean and organized during this period.
I'm mostly busy with the shitstorm on the Facebook Page, Twitter account and e-mail inbox, so we could use some help on the Forum.

Thank you everyone, for your hard work and contribution to this wonderful Community!

I will definitely try to be around as much as possible.
Its always nuts when there is a new expansion coming out.
I just hate it when people post links on here and i cant erase them or anything.
Sending people to different sites that might destroy their computer is just wrong.

Well, I just finished up one of my classes, so I'll have a few extra hours available this week to be on to help with the release issues. (Hopefully it won't be as bad as Supernatural or Seasons were.) O.o

The Sims 3: University Empty Re: The Sims 3: University

Hello everyone.

I was finally able to play my game at length today and noticed something that may be the cause of alot of these people's games crashing.
I was growing a garden in the back of my sim's house before i had university. My graphics and pretty much everything were on low. Everything looked pretty much blah..lol but good enough for me.

I went to my garden today after installing university, And i noticed that the texture and animation of the fruit and vegetables in the garden were upgraded. Like the flame fruit, literally had flames coming out of it. And this is on Low.

And even with the gems. Like when i cut the gems now, The texture and the pictures are more pronounce than before. Like i can see the glisten come off of them.

So..I believe that the same thing that happened when they released Showtime is occurring with University Life. They upped the graphics and its possibly causing people's games to crash if its on the high setting or if their graphics card are unable to handle the sudden boost.

I just wanted to share this bit of information with the helpers, mods and admin so that maybe we can work out a way of solving this mass issue.

P.s. Another thing that i forgot to mention was that, The Story Progression mod seemed to have caused a bit of lag in my game. Nothing really serious but noticeable. As soon as i removed it, My game ran like clockwork. I also went to Nrass site and saw that they haven't fully tested certain mods yet and this happened to be one of them.
