Sims 3 Expansion packs

Hello i've been looking around for some sims 3 expansion packs in which i can download.
I've found the season and university life expansion packs but can't seem to find much else at the moment.

Any links provided to help speed up my search time would be muchly appreciated!

which tells me that most of the expansion packs are being requested and not found or something like that.

I've not played sims since like sims 1.
Recently seen my sister playing it and want to play again but i have no clue what expansion there are. If you can help me finish the list ill be so grateful.

Do you know where I can find the download for the Sims 3 base game? I can't find it on their download list and in other to play the expansions, you need the base game : (

It's on the download list, it's just titled Sims 3, but it has **HOT** after it in big red letters. If you use the find function in your browser (ctrl + f), and type in sims 3, it should be the second to last item found.

Can i ask one final thing, what is stuff packs?
Just additional items etc?

Stuff packs are indeed just added items, clothes, hair, build/buy mode items. They're nice, but if you have a lower end computer, they aren't really adding anything new, so they aren't important.
