Sims 1 crashes after install.

I've tried all the fixes I've found on this forum and watched the video on how to install. I follow every step. After installing The Sims 1, it doesn't even ask me to register. the window comes up (to register) then closes and says installation finished. After applying the crack, The screen would go black then crash and return the desktop. Again, I've done all fixes I can find. Any solutions?

Edit: I was able to press Register Later (if that means anything) doesn't help. Both resolution options dont help, neither does running it in windowed mode and installing from setup folder instead

Yeah, it behaves the same. Black screen then exits. Nothing in the task manager shows up either.

HP Envy 14 Beats Edition. I've ran newer, better quality games on this many times so I don't see the issue

That doesn't automatically mean you can run all games. Some may have compatibility issues with your PC's hardware, you never know.
Anyway, do you have the model number?
