So Frustrating!! [Installer issues]

okay, so i am trying to install the base ts3 game onto my boyfriends laptop. I've unzipped, mounted and mostly installed the game. I've already patched it and i'm downloading the ultimate fix, so if, or when I finally get this sorted out I will be able in install exp. packs, ect. So when i go to put the crack into the bin it tells me 'not enough space, to try again.' When i hit try again, it denies me once more. I've looked around and haven't found an answer that will help, if I overlooked something, i dunno. So i don't know if i'm doing something wrong, or if he doesn't have enough space on his hard drive...or what. Any advice would be amazing.

How big is the partition for his harddrive that you are installing it on, or can you download other stuff onto it?
