Exchange Downloads

I'm using the way shown here https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t2014-how-to-download-things-from-sims-3-the-exchange-no-registration-needed?highlight=exchange but when I do alot of the downloads wont install because they either say; "failed" or "not updated".

Do you get the "Update your game launcher" error?

Well when I open the game I get to the launcher and get a notification that there is a new patch asking if I would like to update. I hit later (because I already uploaded the manual patch so im not sure what to do) then when i go to my downloads and install the content I would like, once they are finished loading they all say; "Failed" or "Please make sure your game has the latest software updates and try again." However when I check update it says its up to date.

Good, you can safely install "Store Content Patches"; they won't change anything anyway, since you're using decrapified files.

As for your Exchange problem, try updating your game to the latest version: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly and RE-DOWNLOAD both the manual patch and the Ultimate Fix.

If that didn't work either, I'm afraid the item(s) you downloaded is/are just corrupt and won't work. This has to be fixed by the item's author.
