Question: is powerISO instead of daemon tools okay?

Ok so i'm pretty new to this whole torrenting thing and at first i thought i was doing pretty good but i just have sooo many questions.

First, I would like to know which drive would be the best to install the game on or if it even matters?? Also is it instrumental that i use daemon tools or is it okay if i use powerISO? Because i downloaded the sims before using it and it worked fine but since i wanted to use expansions from here i didn't want to get into anymore issues so i started fresh and got everything from here.

Please help! I've been trying to play sims for like 2 weeks and now i've searched all over this forum and google!

Ya it should work, I used power iso on it.
