Sims 3 Pets Debug Problem

I just downloaded the expansion for pets and whenever I open sims 3 the following popup appears. sims 3 pets unhandled page by default on access to 0x00000000 at address 0x7f16b3b3 do you wish to debug it? No matter if I click yes or no it exits sims. The only other expansion I have is Sims 3 Late Night which was working fine before this. Any help is appreciated Thanks

I'm not an expert, but I had the same problem. I installed the add-on and then applied the ultimate fix, using the manual patch.

Meaning:
- open the ultimate fix folder
- follow the installation guide
- drag the folder into the right place
- apply the manual patch
- drag the crack into the right place
- apply the patch again. And if it won't let you start the game because you need the CD, drag the crack in the right place once again.
