Sims 3 problem. [SOLVED] Empty Sims 3 problem. [SOLVED]

Post by Guest Thu 16 May 2013, 03:53

On the Sims 3 launcher, the icons on the bottom say that I only have the expansions up to Ambitions. But I have successfully installed them up to Town Life Stuff. Also when I try to start the game, it won't launch. When I try to install other expansions, like Generations, it says that my version of the Sims 3 is ahead of the expansion I wanted to install. Is this normal? Please help! Crying or Very sad

It showing only up to a certain expansion means either you used the wrong crack, or the game is just being stupid. Try following the instructions here. Start with step 2, then do the steps in order starting back at step 1. (So it'll be 2,1,2,3,4, then hopefully 5).

Do you need to download all the expansions you want before doing that or can you still install expansions after you use the manual patch and ultimate fix? :newfag:

You can still add extra expansions afterwards, just redo the steps when you do. Smile
