Sims 3 world adventures installation

Hi,
i have sims 3 bese game and i've downloaded world adventures,when i start installation it tells me i need to patch to the latest version and when i click ok an error message appears telling me i cant patch the game,i tried the latest fix for sims 3 (uploaded in Games4theworld.org) but am still getting the same error,please help !

I want to install the sims D. Adventure message appears (update sims 3) I click yes and another message appears (error while updating the game sims3 the installation can not continue)

Does it provide a reason why it can't update? While you're updating, check your system tray in the bottom right corner of your screen. If there are any Sims 3 applications down there, exit them before trying to patch.

Does it happen to be the "Invalid file" error? If yes, please reinstall Generations ánd the The Sims 3 base game. When reinstalling, don't apply any cracks.
After installing them, update your game, install WA, update again and thén apply the Fix.

i reinstalled many times without any result
i must install generations? i dun have it !

If I'm right, the second step on that page clearly says:

Admin once wrote:2. Install The Sims 3: Generations.*

Or is it only me seeing that?

Its not that you are being annoying Allani, but you must take into fact that the directions for the current fix clearly state that you must install Generations.

I however am willing to help you set up the game with any expansions and stuff packs you wish to use. Please list which expansions and stuff packs you would like to use and I will provide you with the proper fixes.
