Unable to play TS3 or crack it after updating from 1.06 to 1.50

Okay so I installed TS3 from the "The Sims 3 - Reloaded Mac & Windows" torrent and it was working just fine, but I wanted to be able to add the .Sims3Package content through the launcher so I updated to 1.50 patch with SuperPatcher (i have the international version with area code 7).

The launcher recognises the packages in the download section just fine but when i try to play the game or install the downloads it's asking the Registration Number again and none of the serials I've tried work; at first it OK's the serial and then asks to retype and when I try to submit that it doesn't explictly say it's not a valid code, it just shows the 'retype registration number' again and again.

Soooo I've tried several different cracks that ask you to replace TSLHost.dll and TS3W.exe OR TS3.exe with the provided ones but no dice. And I haven't been able to do the Ultimate Fix for Mac either because I'm not able to install the extension i downloaded (Supernatural) in the first place. I tried to make a .dmg like in Sims 3 Mac Guide but after moving the files to the disk image the Installer just doesn't open so I'm not able to finish the crack installation with Ultimate Fix.

ETA: I haven't tried to downgrade it because I'm not sure if that's possible with SuperPatcher? And cracks for older versions are harder to find.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I would just like to have an updated version that allows to add downloads so I'm not stuck with 1.06. Thanks.

Try to apply the manual patch from here...
Then apply the latest Ultimate Fix!

I re-installed TS3, patched to 1.50 and used a crack and at first I got 'Important Message!' about not being able to connect and it closed the game. Now it's asking for the Registration Number again.

How can I use the Ultimate Fix if I can't install the Extension? : (

Here's what to do from your point on:
¤ In the Ultimate Fix, take the files in every folder EXCEPT THE CRACK FOLDER, and drag them to the correct folder as instructed.
¤ Install all your expansions.
¤ Take the files from the Crack folder and drag them to the correct folder as instructed.
Then, your game should be working!

I downloaded a completely new torrent - "Anthology 2009-2011" one with has several packs inside one The Sims 3.app. Now it automatically opens an extension every single time instead of the base game, first Pets, then I deleted Pets, then Town Life...

Can you choose what extension or just base game you want to play on the launcher? It also didn't make the base game start when I replaced S3Launcher.exe with TS3.exe in the info.plist

Ok, here's how things work:
You install the base game, and then expansions. Once you launch the game, the latest expansion will appear on the loading screen, and then inside your game you'll have contents of all the expansions you installed (you can see with the little icon).
So this isn't a real problem...

Yeah, unfortunately. After updating my game started warning me about unofficial game modification that's not compatible with my patch (1.50) and that I should uninstall or update them. My Mods folder is empty and I don't think I even have any cc besides Downloads and I think the launcher would notice about those. Any idea where else I should look for them? Aaand the Buy&Build Mode now freezes every time, I wonder if these two have a connection.

The build mode has worked perfectly in earlier versions, so I don't think it's because of my computer or anything.

Mmmmh, did you apply the Ultimate Fix correctly?
If so, it might be a problem with the cache. Go to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3, and delete the following:
¤ CASPartCache.package
¤ compositorCache.package
¤ scriptCache.package
¤ simCompositorCache.package
¤ socialCache.package
Then, also delete the folders WorldCaches, and Thumbnails.
