I need some help. [SOLVED]

I'm trying to launch both Sims 3 and Supernatural and they both say that there was an error during startup.
What should I do?

Ok, please type the Windows key (on the bottom of the keyboard) and the R key together, then type "regedit" and press enter.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Sims 3, and give us a screenshot of what you get (or a list of the folders you have).
Also, tell us which games you have installed.

Ok, There's no "sims 3" folder there because I installed it to D:\My Games\Sims 3
and in a separate folder the supernatural

By TeamViewer, I edited the Registry: seems like the uninstall didn't go properly, and a bunch of other games were there (though not in the usual place since the games are installed on D:)
Seems to be working now...

So now as I read from some chick the launcher opens but the game doesn't
this means that the game automatically crashes as soon as I click on 'Play"

Ok, thankfully to Shamrock the game finally works, I'm not sure if I should download the new patch but it works.
