Been a while... kinda lost!!! :(

Hi all! *waves frantically* It's been quite some time since I've loaded ... I generally don't play, but my 9 year old daughter does, and it's summer break here and she's moping around wanting to play. I stopped letting her / encouraging her to play because of shitty crashing and error 12's even after getting awesome advice from Hex and attempting (?!) to increase my Ram memory etc. 

Anywho... like I said, daughter is whining about playing the game again but mehhh, not sure I want to start the hassle over again. Crashing causes tears around here since she's so young!   

So I just brought up my game launcher and my version is 1.50.56.... I just saw a note saying that the ultimate fix supports the new update (that my launcher just suggested but I clicked cancel for now...) Last time I played there were some serious STORE FIX issues, saying take out the store fix files, put them back, do the hokey pokey and turn yourself around, it was all funky and confusing and I'm not really sure if we went beyond that or....?!

I guess I need to know what to do about the store fixes... maybe be sent a link on where to download an updated store fix zip if someone could be so kind??

And... I've searched, but was wondering if we were still waiting on Dragon Valley??  I saw other people mention heading to MATY (they are so f'ing pretentious there, makes me puke a little!) and they have it, but it's "untouched", which I'm assuming isn't decrapped... so I just need a "YEP, WE ARE STILL WAITING ON IT" or a link to where I can grab G4TW copy???

The current game version is 1.55, but the Ultimate Fix doesn't support it yet so I'd wait a bit.

Dragon Valley was released.

And yeah, I just got done updating to 1.55 with manual patch, then applied the ultimate fix (which is NOW available for 1.55) and am installing a Dragon Valley that I got "elsewhere", hope it all works out. I'll secretly give a little play before I get my kiddo too excited!  Thanks for your help TUN3R

Now just gotta wait for all my mods to be updated to 1.55. EXTREME WAITING ENGAGE!

LOL! Your text is so pretty  I don't really use any Mods, like unawesome etc, so I think I'm okay. But the dragon valley I snagged isn't installing, says I need to update to latest version, which I JUST DID! Bugger all! Stupid thing! Grrr! But my mods / packages/ etc folders are a bloody MESS! I don't know which files to keep, what should be where anymore! AHHH! I am not thinking that it will completely bork and blow up on me if I have some older store fix files from here in my folders, AND those KT store fix files in while playing....? what do you think?! *skeeeered*

I have to reinstall everything as well, if a patch fails to install it dooms your game. But that was expected. I think I'll just wait till Island Paradise is out since I'll have to update again...

Oh I was able to update my game with a manual patch, so that is fine. I was just bugged about a dragon valley I had snagged elsewhere that wasn't installing. I tossed that one, found one from MATY and a fix... both installed fine (well fix just goes into mods folder  ) I'm hoping. Haven't loaded the game. Fixin' to do that shortly after I set up DEP and just rebooted. Wish me LUCK!

I don't know, Dragon Valley worked swell for me from the start. My problem is that I'm using a RePack with all the expansions and updates included, and the other updates don't work on it.

They update and re-upload it every time a new expansion is out so, guess I'm waiting for Island Paradise. God I can't wait for the last expansion to be released so that this mess will end...

That does sound frustrating!  I'm sorry!
