MATY's store stuff
I download some new store stuff from MATY. it says it's untouched, so I use the sims3 recompressor and decrapify.exe, but nothing happened. though the launcher keeps saying it intalled successfully, I can't see it in game. Did I do anything wrong?

Hello,
Have a look at this here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t3330-an-alternative-approach-to-managing-store-and-custom-contentupdated-the-sims-3
Maybe you can install that store stuff with CC Magic.

Yes, you can also use CC Magic for installing ".sims3pack" files.
Otherwise, if you think that the MATY items are somehow corrupted, then I suggest you wait a little while until the new G4TW download account re-opens.

Re: MATY's store stuff
I have the same problem, but unfortunately for me, I was enable to install any sim3pack file, and CC Magic solve all my problems, so I recommend to use the CC Magic, it's almost certain that will solve your issue. =]

Another fix, granted I hate using it but its a temp fix.
Take your DCBackup folder from your TS3 folder and place it in your mod/pack folder.
Some people say it works, I can't remember if it did.
DCBackup files are the cache for your TS3 packs.

Although this solution doesn't work, there is a bit of truth in it .
What is correct is that if you delete/remove the folders DCBackup, DCCache, Downloads, Installed Worlds, and the following cache files:
-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"
then all of your installed .sims3packs should be gone. Now if you re-install all of it again, then there is a chance that the "unwilling" .sims3packs will install too.
