has anyone found a fix for the patching problem? [SOLVED]

I have version 1.50.56.021001. I can not install the sims 3 island paradise. I have tried the manual patch, the fix and everything else i have read of here. i just keep getting the invalid file error. has anyone found a working fix yet? Please help me.
