If I decided to uninstall Island Paradise, what needs to be done

I haven't installed Island Paradise yet, but if I don't like it and want to uninstall it, will my old installs work okay?
They are disk versions I bought awhile ago.
I think when we use the Ultimate Fix - we change things, so I have no idea what would happen, or what I'm supposed to do?

Yes, don't worry.
To be certain, here's what you should do:
¤ Create a folder on your desktop, and copy there the two files TS3W.exe and TSLHost.dll from C:\Program Files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin (this is going to be your backup)
¤ Then, go on and install IP, and apply the Ultimate Fix.
¤ If ever you want to go back, uninstall with Control Panel, then put back your files from the folder on the desktop to where they were!
