IT SAYS IVE INSTALLED AN UNOFFICIAL GAME MODIF

Please help, i downloaded the ultimate fix and followed the direction told but i messed a little so i had to delete some files in the bin and copy the files from the fix again.

Another reason i think it didnt work was because i updated the game before doing all this.

Is there way to fix it? THANK YOU

Hello,

Try this here first :

1) Re-apply the "manual patch", available here:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v133-fix-manual-patch

2) Re-apply the "Ultimate fix". It's enough to use the two files from the #crack sub-folder in the fix. These two files (TS3W.exe + TSLHost.dll) go into C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin (=the base game location).

Maybe you have some mods that need to be updated, I know Twallan updated his mods so you can go ahead and update them if you have downloaded any of his. I also get that error whenever I have a mod that isn't updated. Look through all of your mods (if you have any) and update any that need to be updated! Smile

Yes i have this problem too,
normally what mod cause the problem ? And is there any possible step to know which mod need to be update ? because i have too many mod =="

The only mods that I know of that need to be updated are:
-Twallan's mods
-Cmar's xcas mod on modthesims
-S-club's HQ mod and slider hack (I think the eyelash sliders need to be updated too)
That's all that I can think of right now, but if you have any of those make sure you update them all to patch 1.55 or your current patch if you haven't updated to 1.55 yet. Smile

I'd recommend moving your "mods" folder out to the desktop and testing the game without it to see if it works then. If it does, the only way you will know if the mod needs updating is by going and finding the creator's site/where the mod is hosted and see if it needs to be updated for this patch.
