Sims 3: Cannot find Bridgeport from Sunset Valley. [SOLVED]

Hello, I just recently started playing Sims 3 , so I do not know if I can access the Night Life town, Bridgeport, from the basic town Sunset Valley. I have created a new sim in Bridgeport just fine, but it was my understanding that existing sims would be able to visit other added cities. Can someone please tell me if it is even possible to visit Bridgeport with an existing sim before installing the expansion pack, and if so, how?

As of right now I do not believe so. I too have Late night and have not found a way to do so. What you can do though is place certain things from Bridgeport, like a bar, in Sunset Valley.

It was possible in The Sims 2 to visit other neighborhoods once one of the expansions was released, but they have not added that feature to The Sims 3 yet.
