Island Paradise updating/Manual patch issues. I've looked around the forum for answers, but no use!

Hello guys! I need your help installing/updating Island Paradise. I've roamed around the forum, and it seems a lot of people are having the same issue. I've tried the solutions suggested, but so far nothing has worked.

I got the "can't update" error when trying to install Island Paradise, so I closed it and downloaded the manual patch to update. I use google chrome, however the patch isn't zipped so there was no need to extract it. The error message I'm getting is this one:

Hello there,

Try re-downloading the patch with Chrome or even Firefox. DO NOT PAUSE the download at any point.
