Sims lost their free will Empty Sims lost their free will

Post by Guest Mon 01 Jul 2013, 23:22

I don't know what happened, whether it's a glitch in the new update or something in the new expansion or something I did, but I can't turn my sims free will back on. I've tried turning it off and restarting the game and turning it back on and I've restarted my computer. Is there any other suggestions or has anyone else experienced this?

Hello,

It's very odd. However you can use these mods to solve your issue: Nrass Overwatch and Errortrap. Of course you need a framework to use these mods. Download the framework here.

Hello there,

Did that glitch happen "out of the blue", or have you recently added any mods or "custom content" ? If you added something to your game, then please remove or "undo" that (of course, if you remember).

You could also go into "edit town" mode, save your sim(s) to the bin, then  start a new savegame in another town and put your sim(s) into it. See if that changed anything.

You might even make a completely fresh savegame with new sims to see if that helps.
