Sim keeps disappearing / unselectable Empty Sim keeps disappearing / unselectable

My sims have been disappearing, it's happened with a couple game saves where they won't show up where they are supposed to and the motives won't load. And some sims are unselectable and just completely frozen there. Sometimes their images won't show on the box on the left as well. I don't know what to do, I've started over 3 times in the past 4 days.

Try applying Ultimate Fix, if not works, rename "The Sims 3" folder under My Documents>Electronic Arts.

Let me know the results. The Sims 3 plumbob

rename it to something else like "The Sims 3.old"

Have you tried to reset all sims? It's done with the cheatcode resetsim *.

Hello,

A small thing you could try is, for example, to go to a bathtub/shower and let your sims use that item. After that see if your sim shows up again.

Otherwsie, you might also make a completely new savegame (with new sims too) and see if your sim(s) show up there.

 I've started over new save games for about three times already with new sims. But I'll try the bathtub/shower.
