Sim 3 Island Paradise Install Problem

Everytime I try to install I get something that say this product requires an installed copy of The Sims™ 3. Please install the Sim™ 3 before installing this product.

Hello,

Have you installed The Sims 3 base game? If not, download it in www.games4theworld.org. If you have but still you still encounter this, try this.

Hello,

A slightly modified version of the "Installation guide" (where you seem to have problems) is my following suggestion:

1) Install the "Base game" of The Sims 3; you can find it here: http://www.games4theworld.org/downloads.html; please look for the download "The Sims 3". Press Ctrl + F to open the search function if you can't find it. And when you found it, just click on the magnet symbol - and the bittorrent client will open up.

2) Now download and apply the "manual patch", you will find it here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v155-fix-manual-patch

3) Download and install all expansions you want; but I strongly recommend you download at least one of the following expansions: 70s, 80s, & 90s Stuff, Seasons, Supernatural, Diesel Stuff, Katy Perry’s Sweet Treats, Showtime, Master Suite Stuff, Pets, Town Life Stuff, Generations.

4) Re-apply the manual patch after every additional expansion that you download. Even if it says "that your game is updated already". For example, you install "supernatural", then you need to apply the patch. Then you install "Seasons", so you need to patch again, and so on.

5) You need to download (at least) one of the expansions, because otherwise the "Ultimate fix" will not work. You can find it here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems. Apply that "Ultimate fix", but keep in mind that you only need the #crack-folder of that fix. In that #crack folder, there are two files (TS3W.exe + TSLHost.dll). Copy these files to C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin. Of course, you need to replace the existing files.

6) And that's it basically - good luck !
