Island Paradise Unable to Load Neighborhood [SOLVED] Empty Island Paradise Unable to Load Neighborhood [SOLVED]

Hello. I installed IP and everything went fine, used the crack and the game loads but when i wanna start a new game (in Isla Paradiso for instance) the loading bar keeps going and going but once its in like 98% it stops loading, so it wont start and i cant play there. The game does not crash or freeze, it just wont load the neighborhood.....help would be highly appreciated! Ty!

Hello,

Please delete the following in C:\Users\(name)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3:

-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"

Hello,

Rename this folder: C:\Users\(name)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and run the game.

 I need to rename the "The Sims 3" folder? Or which one exactly?...I didnt get it lol...

Hello,

Open My Documents. And you will see a folder called Electronic Arts. Double-click it and you will find a folder called The Sims 3. Rename this folder and run the game.

 That did work and its like a whole new general game again. Is there a way i can restore all my previous households?

Hello,

Try this: go to your renamed "The Sims 3" folder, then to the sub-folder "Saves". Find a folder which looks like this here: "(Name of your savegame).sims3.backup".
Now you remove the ".backup" folder ending, so that it looks like (Name of your savegame).sims3.

Then you copy that folder to your new "The Sims 3" folder (into the sub-folder Saves).

 Yup the problem was an outdated mod....i deleted my dear beloved household cause of this and i knew since the beginning the problem was a mod (just wasnt all that sure of course).


But w.e its good to start fresh again with a new EP and a new family, so thanks for your help!
