Okay so I've download and installed The sims 3 base game, Pets, Diesel, Fast Lane, Town Life, High End Loft, Outdoor living, 70s 80s and 90s stuff, University, Seasons, World Adventures and Island Paradise. I have Generations, Ambitions and Late Night but those were actually purchased (though not installed). I followed the ultimate fix's instructions CAREFULLY, however when I go to launch the game via the TS3 file, I get the "service initialization error 0x0175dcbb". I've searched all topics related and tried applying those fixes before submiting this post and none have worked! I am out of options, and desperate to play these games! please help. confused

Hello,

If you have correctly applied the "Ultimate fix" - remember that if you used the "manual patch" for updating your game, it's enough to use the two files that are in the #crack folder of the Ultimate fix (TS3W.exe & TSLHost.dll).

If that doesn't help, you need to un-install everything and start over. You can un-install manually: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS3_Uninstall

Or you use a good un-install program like "REVO uninstaller" (look on Piratebay for that).
