Service Initialization Error :(

So yeah, I installed everything then got this. I tried downloading the base game from https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1142-update-read-before-posting-anything-related-to-the-sims-3 but the link doesn't work.

I installed everything except for the "Stuff" packs. What can I do?

You get this error when you copy the crack to the wrong folder. (Extra information for our Mac Helpers)

I un-installed it and re-installed it but it didn't work.

I PM'd Dale and he said he'd reupload the file to megaupload for me.

Re-installation doesn't fix the problem. As I said, the error is caused by a misplaced crack. But I don't know how to tell you to do it correctly, as I don't know anything about Mac's.

Hi, but there was a previous thread on this and the fix was to download the file that was at that address (44.x etc)

So Dale is going to reupload that file. I don't know anything else.

Ok then, then I guess it works different for Mac. Brrr... that's why I hate Mac's. Owh, probably shouldn't say that too loud in the Mac -section,
