How to properly apply mods? [SOLVED]
Hi guys,
I have downloaded and installed Sims 3 and most of the expansions and the whole game works perfectly with no problems.
My question is how I can put in store updates that I downloaded from your alternative new Mediafire website.
I did the store update fix and followed your guide on 'How to install packages for Sims 3' so I have the Mods folder, I copy and pasted the .sims3pack files into the 'Packages' folder but none of the content shows up for some reason even after restarting my laptop. I even got an updated resources.cfg file in the Mods folder but still doesn't work?
Funny thing is, the nointro.package works fine.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Edit: I'm really sorry, this is in the wrong place. Can admin help me move to relevant one?

".sims3pack" is not for mods. Thouse files are placed in "C:\Users\(user)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads" and installed from the launcher. In the "Packages" folder you place ".package" files.

Hello,
.sims3pack files are not .packages. Packages can be dragged and dropped to the Mods folder, while you can simply double-click .sims3packs to initiate the installation.
