Error updating Game

Alright, so I've done exactly as the 'How to instal Sims 3 Correctly' has told me, and I cannot update my game. I've installed the pirate of the pirate of the Base Game and Generations, as well as my own two physical copies of Ambitions and Pets. I did this EXACT same thing on my Desktop, and had 0 issues whatsoever (Other than an embarrassing user-error). But now, as I'm trying to install it on my Laptop, I keep getting the SAME error every time I try to update the Sims 3 with the G4TW Manual Patch;

Help?

And, of course, after I post this it suddenly starts working. I moved the the program out of 'Downloads' and for whatever reason it's updating now.
