Sims 3 Island Paradise Crashing?

I downloaded Sims 3 Island Paradise from here when it was first released. All of my Sims games were downloaded & installed from G4TW, having all expansions, but now since Island Paradise after about 20-30 minutes of playing in Live Mode, when I try to switch to Buy/Build mode it crashes by loading for a really long time, I even went to sleep & woke up & it was still loading, until I finally ended the process through Task Manager.

Please help, is this a glitch? There is CC & Mods in my game.
Help

Also, it crashes right after i get into the sea??

Hi,

Have you tried re-installing?

Also, have you tried deleting your cache files? Do you know how?

Hello,

I suspect it's CC or mods which cause the problem... Can you rename this folder: C:\Users\(your computer name)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3.
