Sims 3: World Adventure SKU problem

I want to play sims 3 adventure. So i installed sims 3 from games4theworld, installed generation-reloaded and i havent applied any cracks.
I downloaded sims 3 WA from games4theworld, and I can't seem to pass the 2nd step (Now open the Start menu. Type 'regedit' in the search box and press [ENTER]. Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sims\The Sims 3 and double-click on 'SKU'. Change the shown
number to 2 and press 'OK'. Close the Register Editor.)

I have window 7. I went to Hkey_local_Machine > Software > Electronic Arts > Sims > The sims 3 > ergc. I don't see any SKU but REG_SZ.

For Windows 7 it should be in: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > Sims > The Sims 3

Couldnt find Wow6432Node. But when i looked through all the folders in Software more carefully, i found a folder called "sims" (not electronic arts)

So i went:
Hkey_local_Machine > Software > Sims > The sims 3 > and there it is SKU

I'm running into another problem. according to the fix most problem guide, when installing WA i have to skip the Crack # folder. (3. Install any other expansions you like. (When installing WA, just skip the "# Crack" folder ) So i skipped 3, 4, 5 and 6 on The Sims 3: World Adventures Expansion installation guide. Im on step 9ish now, while im waiting for it to install a window pops up and said "Please insert disk 1 that contains the file Thmbnails/AllThumbails.package."

What do i do?

This error occurs, because of the way you extracted the downloaded .rar file. Please do it as following and it should work fine:

Open the .rar file you downloaded using only WinRar, which can be downloaded from www.games4theworld.org . (If you use any other software than WinRar, like WinZip or 7-zip, the files will get messed up!)
When you've opened the file using WinRar, select áll the files in it and drag & drop them to a folder on your Desktop. When the extraction is done, close the .rar file and open the folder on your Desktop.
Now, start by reading the included "# Installation Guide.txt" and you should be able to get the game to work yourself. Good luck!
