Sims 3 seasons "no-disk" problem, after following instructions

I would actually do the first two steps the other way round; so at first the manual patch, and after that the Ultimate fix.

If you first apply the fix and update the game, the patch will basically "delete" your crack files, meaning you have to do the fix again. So it's better to do the patch first and then the fix.

Other than that I have nothing to add.

In applying the Ultimate Fix, you must have to the base game and expansions cracks, before updating, then the #Crack.

The method shown in the video is when you want to update with the launcher. However, if you actually use the manual patch first, then it's enough when you use the two files from the #crack folder of the fix (copy them to the base game location).  

But yes, I think the user should decide which solution (s)/he finds easier.
