Multiple base games??
Hi, I only have a laptop and am new to Sims 3. I'd like to try all the expansions but my specs are so little there's just no point in trying to play in with any more than 4 expansions.
I've been wondering if having multiple base games with a few expansions on each would make it playable an if it's even possible to do this?
I'm very stuck, please help me!!
Thank you...

Re: Multiple base games??
Hello,
You can't do that, unless you're running multiple operating systems.
My advice is to try a number of expansions and pick the ones you like best.
What can you tell us about your system specs?

Unfortunately, my Windows OS is in German, so I can only roughly tell you where you can look: in Windows Vista/7 you should find some information underDozeyRosie wrote:I've looked up the specs for my model, what are the bits that matter? (Clueless!! )
System Control Panel/System & security/System
You could tell us for example how many GB of "RAM" your computer has, how many GHz the processor, and so on.

Re: Multiple base games??
I've 4 GB RAM (3.60 GB usable) and 1.60ghz. I originally had 3 GB RAM but had an extra 'stick' put in, I'm told it can't be upgraded anymore. 64-bit Windows 7, it's classed as a notebook - not sure if that means anything.
