Launcher / game " Not Responding" Issue. [SOLVED]

Hi,
A few days ago I was just having complete install issues, I got those fixed but now here I am with my game crashing. I was in the middle of downloading CC's into my game, an the sites I use I know are legit, last time I had sims I used these sites an my game worked fine. Now? I don't know. My game either loads up the launcher then tells me its not responding an just shuts down. Same with when I try to launch the game itself they just crash.
I patched, an then applied the fix an nothing seems to be working. Help me please I'm frustrated

So before you started downloading/installing CC's the game was working fine ? What is that CC you are trying to install ? Have you made sure that everything is compatible with your base game version (1.55) ?

It's a few cc's , the one's I were in the middle of was a lot an I believe a few clothes items. The base game is fully patched to 1.55 an they are compatible.

Go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 and rename the folder "DCCache", into anything you like. Also, delete the following stuff inside "The Sims 3" folder:
-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"
That should normally get rid of all your installed ".sims3packs". Try to re-start the game then. If it does work, then the problem was with one of your downloaded CC's.

It must have been a cc after all, I uninstalled an re installed the base game as well as all the sp an ep's an its working now =/ thank you. Sorry to be a bother.
