The sims 3 has stop working. [SOLVED]

Hello again >.< is been a while since i had a problem with the sims 3, but well.

I have recently format my computer and i install the sims again.. I have put the game in the DEP folder but and is already updated in the new version. But every time i log in the game after like 5-10 mins the game crush and the error "The sims 3 has stop working" appears. The truth is i haven't apply the sims Fix since i didn't had any problem in the beginning, but i think i will try with the fix and report back.

I notice that there also others lately who have start experience the same problem. Hope is not the new version. Mad

Besides applying the latest manual patch https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1870-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v155-fix-manual-patch and then the latest Ultimate fix https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problem

do you also have any mods installed ? You need to make sure that all of your mods are compatible with your version of the base game (if you apply the latest manual patch, your base game version will be 1.55).

Hi , i have the latest patch, i am actually adding the ultimate fix at the moment and see how it will go. I have mods such as "error trap", "save" and "overwatch" but those are updated with the last version "1.55" so is nothing wrong with them. I will try now with the "ultimate fix" and i will say in a bit how is it going .

Hi there again, i have add the "ultimate fix" and i manage to play maximum 10 minutes , after that i got again the "the sims 3 has stop working" :/. I really dunno what to do .

Please clear the following caches in C:\Users\(your computer name)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3:

-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"

And may I ask how you applied the Ultimate Fix? Please elaborate.

Hi, as i said on my last post i applied the "ultimate fix" but it didn't helped. I clean the cash and i remove my mods completely, that it actually help so you can say that the thread is now close but i have problem now with "never end save" I manage to play for like 30 mins last night after my last post, but when i went to save i have error 12 and when i went to save with different name i had "never end save" At least i solved one problem lol!

i had removed the "error trap" since wasn't sure about my mods, but i will get again the new versions and try again, i will post a bit later to see how it will go.
It is says "It’s an “out of memory” error and most often happens with large save games, meaning neighbourhoods you’ve been playing for several generations. "
That is not possible to be the problem since the game is new copy and and just a new family who haven't manage to play, anyway i will try again with the "error trap"

Hello again! Well i have manage to play for a bit now and was going fine i must say.
The thing is in my cc's seems i had some cc who was made a conflict with the game i think it was them since when i remove them the game was going much better, i actually manage to play a bit long. I also add the game booster and was also , tho after a 45 min game play i still got "the sims 3 has stop working". So i think there must be still some cc that cause conflict. if is not then i don't know what it is, since before the format i never had that type of problem with my game.

So i actually run the build at "CCmagic" and i saw on the log screen some cc that cause can cause some problem but dunno how to delete those since i try to find them in the cc list but didn't saw them. So i suppose i will remove all my cc and try to see what happens WhatDidUJustCallMe?

and i don't really want to remove them!

Hi there again, it seems i have manage to solve the "sims has stop working" Im not really sure how, since the only thing i've done is to get the "game booster" and add the "error trap" .But the thing is now third save my game is going to en endless save o.o .
What i mean with that is i can save 2 times, on the third save the game is saving forever. Any ideas?

Sometimes this happens, even with my game. This is an in-game bug, I'm afraid, for which there is no solution. You have to exit the game and close it with the "task manager" (press Ctrl + Alt + Delete). Then close the Sims 3 with the task manager.

It's very important that before you re-start the game, that you go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Currentgame.sims3. Inside that "Currentgame.sims3" folder, delete all the contents. Afterwards, you can start the game again.

I do understand that "endless save" can happen, but i don't think is normal every time after the third save Shocked
