Sims 3 has stop working.

Hi i got this error ' Sims 3 has stop working ' since few days ago. This problem only occur when i go to map view or follow my sims while they are driving. I tried removing my cc and mods, add Sims to DEP and running the game as administrator but nothing seem to work ):. Please help

Hello,

I think you should rename this folder: C:\Users\(your computer name)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and try again. Does this happen to old saves only or happen everytime no matter the save is just created or old?

You mean renaming the Sims 3 folder on program files? This happens to all my game play ):

Try this, back up your save games from your My Documents\Electronic Arts\ The Sims 3/Saves

Then delete the Electronic Arts folder from your My Documents and relaunch the game. This will make the game recreate the folder in your My Documents. YOu should be asked to start a new game since there wont be any saves yet. Close the game and copy your saves back to My Documents\ Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves. No try playing your save games, it should fix the problem if your save game(s) is/are not corrupted.

Hello,

In that case, backup the mods folder as well, but run a test without them first. If the problem persists after copying your mods folder back, the problem is with your mods/cc and you'll have to go through your files to see which one is causing the problem.

Hi sorry i am busy this few weeks, will try renaming the folder when i'm free, btw the Sims 3 folder in program files is the one that needs to be renamed right? I tried playing without CC/mods but my game is still crashing. Will try the above methods when i'm free, i will give an update about the problem soon.

Hello,

Not the one in Program Files. Have you even read what we have just posted? We mean the one in Documents\Electronic Arts. Please rename that folder. And please don't double-post.

Of cos i have read? What is with that attitude? I just misread it, and i'm not a computer genius so i asked 2 times -_-. Am i wrong to be asking the wrong thing 2 times? If i'm then i apologize, sorry for misreading the posts -.-
