Expansion pack installed??

hi, I would like to ask how would you know if you have expansion packs installed?? Cuz I've followed the way of installing sims on my friend's mac but only seem to been able to install the base game. When I start at the launcher, it only shows the base game. The pets and town life expansion packs were not highlighted. Help please. Thank you.

It's quite common that this happens. Have you read this guide? Afterwards, apply the Ultimate Fix.

hi, applied the crack already. But there's still no expansion pack highlighted in the launcher...and I didnt update the store content. will that affect the whole thing?? thanks

Hello,

What #crack did you apply? The #crack in the torrent of one of the expansion or the #crack folder in the Ultimate Fix? Where did you apply the Ultimate Fix to? Is your base game up-to-date (1.55)? You can check the version of your base game at the bottom-left corner of the game launcher.

yup. I applied the crack from the ultimate fix and is updated to 1.55 already. But i still cant play the expansion packs...help

Hi Phoebe, thanks. However, one more question....
I've tried installing the Town Life already. But when I opened. It only started with Town Life and didnt let me play my old game...How can I play back my old sims 3 base game on the expansion pack?? Thanks.

It should let you play if you didn't uninstall the base game without backing up your save files.

But i tried and when I have the old saved game in the new expansion pack, it didnt let me play the old saved game...only way is to start all over... Sad

and when I install town life, the launcher straight brought me into the Sims 3 Town Life rather then the base game. So if later i install 2 expansion packs like university life and town life, how can I play both expansion packs??.
Sorry bout it...pretty noob here...

and should i update before installing the expansion packs?? cuz after when I installed the expansion pack, the game version changed. So i am reinstalling the whole game again.
