Sims 3 Pets, Crashing in Game? Empty Sims 3 Pets, Crashing in Game?

I downloaded Sims 3 Pets a few days ago, and experience no lag, but it crashes at random times, sometimes when I try to start a new game, or I'm in the middle of a game. I don't get any lag or slowness... it just freezes and I get the pop up "Sims 3 is no longer working/responding"

I have the Expansion Packs, Late Night, Seasons, Generations and now Pets.

My Computer specs.

Sounds like a memory buffer error. Try closing any unneeded programs and services either manually or with a program like Razer Game Booster. Then run the Sims 3. You may also want to check out the 4GB memory patch so that the game can access more of your memory.

If you use the so-called "4 GB patch" though, make sure to apply it to the TS3W.exe; located in the base game folder C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.

Ok Update Smile
I applied it to both TS3 and TSW3 and I was able to play for 4 hours Very Happy
It was only after I started a new game, and a fire broke out as my sims went haywire it crashed, but I am glad with the turn out! Thank you!
