Sims 3 University—Needs Disc? Empty Sims 3 University—Needs Disc?

Hello lovely people~!

I'm currently at my wit's end trying to get University Life to work on my laptop. I've downloaded the torrent from G4TW, gone through similar threads on here and applied both the manual patch and the Ultimate Fix correctly, yet it's still asking for a disc. Is there possibly something I'm missing? :c

Hello,

It's possible that you overlooked the actual crack in the fix. It's a common mistake and easily solved. 
Open the fix and look for the #crack folder and copy its contents to your base game bin. That should do the trick Smile

Are you sure you've downloaded and trying to apply the MAC version of the fix?

Hi! Yes, I've made sure that I've downloaded and applied the Mac fix, but it's still demanding a disc.

Hi, 

May I know where you got your base game from?

If you have gotten it from G4TW, it would not work on a Mac.
Please refer to the Mac Guide. There is a link which will direct you to the right base game =)

If you have done the installation right, the only reason I can think of is the base game. I hope it helps! Do update me on the progress =)
