Can't install any expansion packs

I have installed the Sims 3 base game, but as soon as I want to install an expansion pack, which is not installed with a disc, I get this error:

Place disc 1 with file 80177528, but because i do not have a disc, i can't insert a disc, and i don't know what to do. I have already deleted all the expansion packs and downloaded them again but it didn't help.
Someone please help me!

Hello,

Did you download G4TW versions? And how did you extract them? We often see this problem when something went wrong during the extraction process, and recommend using winRAR.

Hello,
Yes i always use the downloads from G4TW. I thought i extracted them with WinRar, but it could also be possible that i accidently extracted them with WinZipper, because i downloaded one expansion pack again, and extracted it with Winrar, and now it did install! but as soon as i installed another one I got an error, and i had to look in the logbook or something

Hello,
It says: An error has occured, see the logbook for more details.
My game is in dutch, so the error is also in dutch so i translated it but i don't know if my translation is exactly the same as the original english error

Hello,

To clear this error, you can either:

(1) Follow this video:

If your pc is 32-bit, look for the registry files in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> SOFTWARE >> Sims instead and follow this video.

(2) Initiate a clean reinstallation of all the base game and the expansions by the help of this guide.

Yes i did follow those steps, but there was no expansion pack in there which i didn't had installed.

Are you sure you have looked into this folder in registry editor: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> SOFTWARE >> Sims and deleted unnecessary registry entries?

Now I suggest you reinstall the games via Your Uninstaller Pro (available in www.games4theworld.org) with Super Mode. This will clear all your problematic registry entries and clear the files in order to initiate a clean reinstallation.

Well... I downloaded and installed them all again, and first everything seemed fine, but after i had installed the last expansion pack, i had to restart my laptop, so I did that, and then from the 19 expansion packs, 15 icon's changed to some other weird icon, and now I get the logbook message again, but because i installed them all, i cannot see where the fault is with the register editor thingy. And i already tried fixing it with the ultimate fix and the patch, but that didn't work): If you could please help me because i really don't want to install them all again):

Weird icons/shortcuts can be fixed easily, whilst I don't see the reason why "Error During Startup" happens again. Did you use WinRAR only to extract the files?

Yes i extracted them all with winrar, But i have had this problem before, and when i delete all the expansions with the changed icons, it works fine again, that's how i know that they are the cause of the error, but i was hoping that there might be an easier fix, because uninstalling and reinstalling takes really long with so many expansions

While I still don't see the reason why you've got "Error during startup" even having uninstalled all the expansions with Your Uninstaller Pro, I am suspecting you might have done something wrong during reinstallation.

I checked it again after i deleted the expansions which didn't work, but again i found nothing.. I will install them again and i'll see if they work then

By saying you "deleted the expansions" I hope that means you Uninstalled them and didn't just delete the folders. Once you have them uninstalled you should defrag your HDD using windows built in defragger or by using my favorite Smart Defrag, then restart your system so Windows correctly sees the new free space. Then reinstall the EPs/SPs you want, install the manual 1.57 Patch and then our Ultimate Fix. This should fix any problems your having. Just be sure to follow the Fix instructions carefully.
