The badly installed Island Paradise won't uninstall.

Hi,I am new so I am sure whether I post in the right category.Yesterday I installed a downloaded copy of Island Paradise after I had patched my game so it could work.The installation seemed to be doing fine but when I restarted my pc all of the Sims icons on the desktop would not appear properly,island paradise was nowhere to be found in the electronic arts folder and when I tried to reinstall a message appered and according to it,the sims 3 had been destroyed.What I did was to uninstall the sims 3 games but island paradise would't uninstal.Even though the game does not exist in the ea folder,I can see it on the programmes-to-uninstall list.I have reinstalled a few of my sims 3 games and patched them to work with my windows 8 but when I click on the IP setup instead installing or at least uninstalling properly,a bar loads extremely fast and the game is still there.Long post,I know...but I am frastrated.Any ideas?Oh,and the game works fine,I just can't have IP...

Also I have tried ccleaner and similar programmes but the problem would remain
